UCLQurates relives personal memories of one of Doha's most diverse and vibrant neighbourhoods in the exhibition, Back to Msheireb: Shared Streets - Shared Stories. Our learning programmes aim to explore ideas of cultural interaction and have been designed to offer enjoyable, interactive experiences for school groups and families.

Saturday Family Activities

April 15th, 11am-1pm – Message in a Bottle

Join us to share, write and illustrate memories of Msheireb’s neighbourhood between 1980 and 2009. Record memories on paper and place them inside a bottle. At the end of the activity all memories will be left inside our well situated in the museum’s courtyard.

April 22nd, 11am-1pm – Stories of Msheireb

Use your imagination and be inspired by Msheireb’s history. Taking inspiration from a specific object featured in Back to Msheireb, develop your own story about the neighbourhood. Families can have fun decorating a flip book that illustrates their stories in a creative and colourful way.
